Reef Encounter
Australia’s floating hotel, “Reef Encounter” offers luxury facilities of a land-based resort while cruising the pristine waters of the spectacular Great Barrier Reef making it one of the most unique holidays escapes in Australia.
Multi-share accommodation offers dormitory style cabins with three bunk beds to a room. All cabins have their own ensuite. You can choose from a variety of packages to experience the Great Barrier Reef – whether it be to enjoy the sunset and sleep on the reef, go snorkeling, become a certified diver with a learn to dive course or if you’re a qualified scuba diver, enjoy the amazing variety of coral and marine life in this world heritage marine habitat.

Cape Tribulation Jungle Surfing is a unique and exhilarating way to experience the beauty of the world-renowned Daintree Rainforest – a fun, educational, fully-guided, all-weather activity where your feet don’t touch the ground. Fly through the trees on flying fox ziplines, stopping at five platforms with bird’s eye views over the treetops, down to cascading streams and out to the Great Barrier Reef.
A highly trained team will be with you every step of the way to lead you safely through the canopy and into a treetop world, offering interpretation and insight into our World Heritage Listed rainforest environment from every platform.

Jungle Surfing Inclusions

- Daintree River Cable Ferry – Cross and enter Daintree National Park into Cape Tribulation.

Jungle Surfing Additional Information
- Weight Restrictions – Maximum Weight 120kg/260lbs (19 Stone)
- Not recommended for pregnant women.
- No prior experience or specific fitness required.

Skydiving Itinerary
(Depending on what time you choose for your skydive – 8 am or 11 am) Below is based on the 11 am Tour
- 1045 – Bus transfer from your Cairns City accommodation
- 1145 – Arrive just outside of Innisfail at the Skydive headquarters
- 1200 – Meet & Greet
- 1230 – Tuition
- 1300 – Gear up
- 1330 – Groups start taking off
- 1345 – Reach max for jump
- 1350 – Jump
- 1356 – Land on either park or beach
- 1400 – Once you have completed your jump you can use the facilities at the headquarters of swimming pool, table tennis or watch TV
- 1600 – Depart the skydive headquarters
- 1700 – Arrive back to your accommodation
Additional Information
- Please note: Persons weighing over 95 kg’s may incur an extra charge.
- Maximum weight for skydiving is 110 kilos
- $25 Australian Parachute Federation Levy is payable on the day.
- Northern Beaches accommodation bus transfers would be $30 pay on board.
